A Day in the Life

These sets of photo series reflect the day in the life of different humans. Before pulling out my camera, I conducted pre-interviews with them, asking what their schedules were like, what they like to do for fun, what their families were like, etc.. Although I was genuinely curious about these folks, I wanted to know which parts of their lives would be visually interesting. By taking photos of my subjects at different parts of their days, they started living their lives as if I weren't even there. Spending a lot of time with them naturally sparked many different conversations too. Once I nested into their lives, I was able to capture moments that organically and spontaneously occurred.
